Self-awareness and self-improvement are often conflated. We see this especially in the digital world, which is virtually impossible to avoid these days. Particularly in the age of social media, we are constantly being told what we should do: how we function, how we behave, and which patterns we should “correct.” The transition from “this is who you are / how you behave” to “this would be better” is almost seamless.

We live in a dynamic age: While just a few years ago, artificial intelligence seemed more like science fiction than reality, today we are right in the thick of it. It’s not just companies that are working with AI; a large portion of the general public in the Western world is now doing so as well. There are many popular AI providers whose own models and chatbots are gaining more and more traction: for example, Microsoft’s Copilot or OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

Some of you are probably familiar with the Johari window - perhaps not the term, but the meaning is familiar to you.
The Johari window classifies personality and behavioral traits according to whether or not we are aware of them ourselves and/or our environment. This results in four groupings of precisely these characteristics.
